Today's was the weekly team meeting. Joshua had organized it and it turned out to be much better than I thought. It had more energy and life than the previous. I spoke with Linda regarding shooting some cars for a local limo company. I'm excited about doing that, however, I am a little nervous about it. This will be my first paid photoshoot. I know I won't blow it. I felt like I really connectd with Linda tonight, just by talking with her and listening. Well...we had connected before, though this reconfirmed it. |

Today was an awesome day. It felt great to know I have someone's unconditional trust whom I only met a few weeks ago and to learn so much about him. Sounds kinda gay, though it isn't. My It turns out my buddy is a lot more like me than I had originally though. After an exceptional dinner at Merkato, discussing with the team about what we learned was a very positive reinforcement for what we're doing. |

Bryon's coffee was tonight. Tia showed up unexpectedly. Rick, Joshua, Bryon took care of her before I arrived at Rick's house. It was great to know that I can trust my teammates and they are there for me, even when I'm not...nor if I had communicated with them about it. :D |

Today I went with Laura's family's to Mt. Charleston. After some less-than-perfect directions, we finally met up with them. I had a very enjoyable time just hanging out with them and talking. I do look forward to returning. I felt free to just speak my mind with no consequence. It was bueno. |

I did not accept my greatness today. Well...change that. I did, but did not make it known. I really didn't see anyone for more than 10 seconds until the guest event. There, I broke out of my shell and spoke to a few strangers. I kind of let myself down. I did not get anyone to the event.
More greatness to come. |

Today was a great day. I got a lot done at work, worked on my goals. I spoke with Keith about a business plan and proforma. He gave me suggestions on where to get the numbers needed for the plan.
Also, DING!

Bored last night, I decided to go out and take pictures on the strip.
Right. So I parked at Ceasar's Palace, around 10:30 pm, to take some pictures of whatever strikes my fancy. I had intentions of going to the Koenieneingenigoengneogneoingnensenkeoeirng dealership here in town (what?! you don't have one!?).
I'm there at Ceasar's, not even 20 minutes, when I run into a guy and his wife, both from Israel, who have the same camera as me. We got to talking about the camera, showed him a few little things about how to use it (I'm still learning myself) and whatnot. Turns out they are here in the US, visiting a foreign country for the first time. After about 20 minutes of talking, he all of a sudden throws his arm around my shoulder and says that we all should go to the bar, that he'll buy me a drink.
"Okay."
So, we leave Ceasar's, heading to Treasure Island, where their room is, and they have coupons for one of the bars there. We got to talking about food. He mentions that he has some hummus from a good kosher store in Los Angeles, where he first went to visit some relatives there. They ask if I know what hummus is and if I like it.
"Yeah! I love hummus, of course I know what it is!"
"We'll go back to our room and get some hummus."
"Okay."
So, we go back to their room, mind you, complete strangers whom I have never met in my life, to get some hummus and have a beer. We did just that. Sat around, for about 3 hours, just shooting the shit about everything. We showed each other the pictures we took, talked about world events, cultural differences, etc. I even adorned a kippa for the first time.
So, here are the few pictures I did get!
Me, Snir and his wife, Miri
Me with kippa and a torah!
 Neigh. Horsies say heigh.
We call them fountains 'round here. |

I hurt.
Serious sunburns are not fun. Trips to the emergency room are not either. It was about $171 or so. Hopefully insurance will reimburse me. I don't know. I did get steriods (beefcake!!) and silvadene. I did not get a pain killer. I bought over the counter iburprophen (AKA Advil). I did also get some booze. I pounded 2 Long Island Ice Teas, which were very strong. They are comprised of all clear/white liquor mixed together and a splash of coke plus a shot of Bacardi 151, and a [purchased] shot of Bacardi 151, followed with a chaser of Coca-Cola.
So, in within 30 minutes, 2 Long Islands, and 2 shots of 151.
Wow. I am bent. However, the pain is not as bad as it was before. I dread the flight ahead of me, tomorrow. Shit.
Fuck.
God damn it!
Fuck.
Shit!!
On a better note, I did get some badass pictures. I am happy with my camera purchase.
